Focus
The types of projects we design with our clients are as varied as our clients themselves. From strategic workshops to animated videos; from client advisory boards to creating team building card games; we’re really proud of our ability to meet our partners where they are, and to come up with the perfect solution for their particular objectives.
But there are some areas of focus, some specific types of work, that we’re really excited about. It’s the stuff that lives at the cross section of what we’re seeing emphasized in the larger marketplace, what’s resonating with our clients and partners, and what gets our brains humming. For the rest of this year’s editions of the CN Newsletter, we’ll be exploring the nuances of these themes and initiatives. Organizational Health
Most companies spend incredible amounts of time and energy thinking about how to hit their goals. But great organizations spend more time thinking about what allows them to hit those goals. The health of an organization—the connectedness of your team, the effectiveness of leadership, the clarity of your strategy—is what drives your ability to meet your objectives.
In times of uncertainty, it’s hard to set long term strategy. What you can focus on, and what will show immediate results, is improving the holistic, overall health of your organization. We know the term “organizational health” sounds a little consultant-y (and that you might have rolled your eyes when you got to this part of the newsletter), but we really believe that it’s never been more important than it is right now. We’re excited to show you what we mean over the next few months.
Learning and Development
Things are moving fast. New technologies, new ways of working, new…everything. And the only way to keep up is to learn as much as we can.

Throw a rock in any direction: odds are, you’ll hit someone trying to sell you some artificial intelligence-snake oil. There’s so much noise around this topic, so many competing visions and voices for how to think about it. And the only thing we know for sure is that a tremendous amount of change is coming, whether we’re ready for it or not.

A recent Gartner survey of 18,000 employees found that only 29% were satisfied with their collaboration at work. With all of the digital tools at our disposal, with all of the efforts around returning to the office still being negotiated, we are all learning and relearning how to work together, in-person, well. It’s not enough to just assume things will get back to “normal” at some point. Work has changed. But change, as we all know, can be amazing.
